API

The archive is readable by scripts and AI agents. Every endpoint is a static file or page, read-only, with no key and no login. Please cite the issue date and link the issue when you quote the brief.

Endpoints

• /issues.json: every issue newest first, with date, headline, summary, page and PDF links.
• /status.json: build status, the latest issue date and the issue count.
• /YYYY/MM/DD/ and /YYYY/MM/DD/beginner/: one issue. Send Accept: text/markdown for a markdown version.
• /pdf/morning-brief-YYYY-MM-DD.pdf and -beginner.pdf: the PDFs exactly as sent to readers.
• /feed.xml: RSS feed of recent issues.

Discovery

• /.well-known/api-catalog: API catalog (RFC 9727).
• /openapi.json: OpenAPI 3.1 description of these endpoints.
• /.well-known/agent-skills/index.json: agent skill for reading the archive.
• /.well-known/ai-catalog.json and /llms.txt: summaries for AI tools.

Terms

Search engines and AI answers may use the content with a citation. Training AI models on it is not permitted. The robots.txt file carries the same signals. The brief is commentary for education and information, not financial advice.
